The Thyrm SwitchBack DF Flashlight Ring is designed to enhance the retention and control of your dual-fuel tactical flashlight. With an inner diameter of 1.12 inches, it can fit the tailcaps of various larger lights, including the SureFire FURY DFT and FURY Intellibeam DF (but not the DF Turbo or Scout), Fenix HT30R and WF-26R, Pelican 7600, Convoy S21A, Jetbeam RRT-M1X, and Acebeam L30 Gen II. However, it is not compatible with the SureFire DualFuel Scout, Fenix PD36R, or Nitecore MH12 v2.
The SwitchBack DF features a releasable finger ring that allows for reliable deployment and indexing of the flashlight from both pockets and pouches. Users can employ traditional low-light techniques such as Neck Index, Modified FBI, and Harries, as well as the SwitchBack Technique, which takes advantage of the wide thumb rest with traction features for a natural two-handed shooting grip. This ensures positive retention of the light when drawing a firearm, reloading, and addressing malfunctions.
The rugged polymer pocket clip on the SwitchBack DF is MOLLE and PALS compatible, allowing for optimal positioning on duty gear, plate carriers, chest rigs, tactical backpacks, and other law enforcement, search and rescue, paramedic, and military equipment. Unlike a metal clip, it won't scratch your surroundings.
The SwitchBack DF mounts securely between the compatible flashlight's tailcap and body, ensuring it remains in place regardless of impact, moisture, and temperature changes. The upper tailcap stop on the DF model locks the SwitchBack in place.
Designed and made in the USA, the SwitchBack DF is the largest model in the Thyrm SwitchBack line, which also includes the SwitchBack Large 2.0 for 1-inch diameter lights and the SwitchBack Backup S for 0.84-inch diameter lights.
